Claimant’s witness statements in the Vaughan v London Borough of Lewisham High Court action
AA Vaughan’s witness statements in response to Lewisham Council’s application to ‘strike out ‘my claim and have an extended civil restraint order imposed against me.
Just 2 weeks before we were due to exchange witness statements for the main trial, Lewisham Council asked for a postponement of the exchange witness statements and the Case management conference which was due to take place on 1 November 2013, so that they could make an application to strike out my claim.
I had been in the process of finalising my witness statement and exhibit, (which ran to several bundles). It is clear that this is
all just part of their strategy to ‘wear me down’.
Lewisham Council’s basis for applying for a civil restraint order against me was that I had allegedly proven myself to be a vexatious Claimant. They withdrew this application during the hearing…what a surprise!
AA Vaughan’s witness statements in support of her application to ‘strike out ‘Lewisham Council’s Defence and bring contempt of Court proceedings against them.
My witness statements are extensive (56 and 42 pages long) and highlights all Lewisham Council’s lies and references the evidence which disprove the lies.
I submitted 5 bundles of evidence, including covert recordings and transcripts.
Sir David Eady stated in his judgment, (throwing out my case) that he saw no evidence of contempt of Court.
